More
Asteroid Pong: Beatwave Edition is an arcade video game I made in Buenos Aires: a 3D pong with a neon look, asteroids, procedural bosses and titans, and music generated while you play. It runs in the browser, at asteroidpong.online, and has a private beta for Android.

An idea that waited since early 2025
Asteroid Pong started as a concept I'd carried in my head since early 2025: the simplest pong in the world, dropped into an asteroid field. I wanted the bare rule of classic arcades, one ball and one bounce, but in a space that felt alive, bright and a little dangerous. Its full name is Asteroid Pong: Beatwave Edition.
Where it comes from
- Pong, Breakout, Asteroids and the Atari: rules you grasp in five seconds and matches that beg for one more.
- Rez: rhythm as the heart of the game, not as accompaniment.
- Audiosurf and Thumper: music as the track and as tension, not as decoration.
The music is generated while you play
It's what I'm proudest of. There's no recorded song looping around: the music is procedural and synthesized live while you play. To me a game like this has to sound as alive as it looks.
What's inside
- Six modes: campaign, endless, bosses, daily challenge, local two-player and the secret retro mode.
- A boss every 5 levels and a titan every 10. Every run builds its own names, shapes and attacks.
- Techno, drum n' bass, jungle and breakcore, synthesized live, changing with the level.
- In Spanish, English and Portuguese, for phone, TV and browser. The beta has no ads and no purchases.
Neon, bosses and a secret retro mode
Visually I wanted everything to glow like a neon sign in a dark room. Bosses and titans are procedurally generated, and there's a secret retro mode I won't explain here.

Where to play it
In the browser, nothing to install, at asteroidpong.online. The Android version is in private beta, and it also looks good in portrait.
